Reassuring Texts from Wifey

Last week Wifey mocked my irrational fear of sharks via text. The homey pictured above was spotted about a mile from the start of the Big Kahuna 70.3 last Friday. Gotta love it.
Our exchange over SMS Friday morning:
- Wifey: Shark sighting in Santa Cruz this morning! Link
- Me: Grrr…
- Me: It’s all good—they don’t like skinny Irishman.
- Wifey: Totally.
- Me: Plus, 70.3 miles—including a swim through shark infested waters—is pretty badass. Unless you’re breakfast. Then it’s just dumb.
- Wifey: Whatever you say, Honey Badger.
